The Union des Jeunes Avocats de Paris – UJA – signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on Saturday, September 9, during a meeting of the board, in the presence of Corinne Lepage.
International Desertif’Actions Summit 2017
On June 27 and 28, the International Desertif’Actions Summit 2017 was held in Strasbourg on the theme of :
“REDUCING LAND DEGRADATION AND RESTORING DEGRADED LAND MUST BECOME A PRIORITY FOR THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY”
The Declaration of Human Rights, carried by the city of Strasbourg and other cities around the world, emphasizes that “land degradation is a violation of fundamental human rights and a vital threat to present and future generations”; Participants of the Desertif’Actions 2017 summit share the message. The urgency to act must mobilize us here and now, it is the responsibility of our generation.

The National Bar Council supports the Declaration
On Friday, June 16, 2017, the CNB, the representative institution of the legal profession in France and internationally, formalized its support for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the presence of Corinne Lepage.
The Board voted unanimously to adopt the following resolution: “The NBC is committed to supporting and promoting the UDHR”.
